Dopod International Corporation is now the world's leading PDA phone and Smartphone provider. The company integrates mobile communications with information system technologies to meet the needs of the modern, 'connected-everywhere' lifestyle user.
Since it was founded in 2004 in Taiwan, Dopod International has quickly established itself in Asian markets, including Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Mainland China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and, most recently, Australia, New Zealand and India.
Trend to wireless products
"The emergence of wireless communications means there is a lot more competition in the market," said Dopod International (HK), Country Manager Terry Chung. "However, Dopod International remains as one of the most popular brands among users, because they not only like our products, but the two-hour free training session we give purchasers and our reliable and efficient after-sale services. In fact, Dopod International's 2006 sales were triple those of 2005, and we expect turnover to double again this year."
Continued Chung: "The ultimate objective for technological advancement is to enhance the quality of life of consumers. Mobile users in Hong Kong have rising expectations of features that are on the cutting-edge of technological trends."
"Dopod International was the first company to launch connected devices with the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform, and now we are launching products with Windows Mobile 6.0, which enables users to enjoy a truly mobile lifestyle filled with rich productivity and multimedia experiences," added Chung.
