The growing adoption of cloud computing and virtualization, with constant capacity changes and dynamic loads that need to be managed efficiently, is forcing the traditional data center to become increasingly complex.

To address this potential market, Schneider Electric has entered into a collaboration in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software solutions with Ingram Micro (China) Limited (Ingram Micro) to offer Schneider Electric’s StruxureWare for Data Centers.

The new partnership between Schneider Electric and Ingram Micro focuses on Schneider Electric’s StruxureWare for Data Centers. This is a complete DCIM solution bridging the IT and facility management functions to maximize availability and efficiency. Equally importantly, the solution integrates seamlessly with software from major IT vendors, for example VMware, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM and HP. This comprehensive solution will be offered via Ingram Micro’s distribution channels.

The collaboration brings together a team of DCIM software specialists with customized solutions that will help companies in Hong Kong to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operating costs.
