Acronis announces partnerships with CloudLinux and Plex

Acronis has announced that CloudLinux has released CloudLinux Backup for Imunify360 powered by Acronis Backup Cloud. The new solution is fully integrated into the Imunify360 Linux Web server security platform and allows for a quick cloud-based backup of the entire systems and a near-instant recovery of lost or damaged data.

The company also announced that Plesk, a WebOps platform, will now incorporate Acronis Backup Cloud into its website management platform and control panel, giving hosting and cloud service providers an easy way to back up Plesk servers and allowing web professionals and IT admins to restore their own data.

Powered by Acronis AnyData Engine and taking advantage of the Acronis hybrid cloud architecture, CloudLinux Backup stores data in the secure Cloud, in an offsite location with multiple remote options available around the world.

CloudLinux Backup for Imunify360 offers 10 GB per month of free storage,

automatic cleanup of infected files by restoring them from backup, and secure cloud storage in multiple data centers.

Customers can activate CloudLinux Backup feature within the Imunify360 application and get 10 GB per month for free. Customers can buy additional space at any time in the Imunify360 application or through the CloudLinux Network (CLN).

Partnership with Plesk

To protect Plesk servers, service providers now just have to install the Acronis Backup Cloud agent on the their physical servers and virtual machines and add the Acronis Backup Cloud extension to the Plesk user interface.

Acronis Backup Cloud is a hybrid cloud backup-as-a-service solution specifically developed for service providers. It allows users to store data locally, in the Acronis cloud, or the service provider’s datacenter. It is part of Acronis Data Cloud platform, which also includes disaster recovery, storage, and file sync and share services.

With Acronis Backup Cloud integration with Plesk, service providers can run full image server backups, storing them in the Acronis Cloud, and use backup files for disaster recovery or server migration. Server backups are visible in the Plesk UI, allowing server administrators to run backups, manage backup space, and offer self-service capabilities to customers for a fee. Web professionals can use the familiar Plesk UI to restore their own server environments, files, emails and databases in a secure way.
