Chio Lim Stone Forest, the largest accounting and business advisory group outside the Big 4 in Singapore, has implemented Good for Enterprise (GFE) to enable its employees to securely access a wide range of collaboration and productivity applications.
The partnership with Good Technology supports CLSF’s IT roadmap to mobilize 85 per cent of its workforce by the end of 2013. With more than 700 staff in Singapore, CLSF will tap into Good Technology’s expertise to securely deploy and manage entire workflows.
“We chose Good Technology for its excellent track record as well as its unique ability to containerize and manage mobile applications and data,” said Eileen Tan, Director, Chio Lim Stone Forest. “With the deployment of Good Technology’s solutions in the expansion of our regional mobile strategy, we expect to see an employee productivity gain of at least 40 per cent.”
GFE is a mobile email and collaboration suite that enables secure access to email, documents, contacts, calendar, tasks, and the intranet from any device. GFE includes integrated device and application management, allowing administrators to enforce security policies as well as secure third-party and internally-developed applications. As a result, CLSF employees are able to enjoy a flexible yet secure work experience that enhances efficiency whilst protecting corporate data at all times.
“Our customers are looking for their mobile competitive advantage, and we are pleased that Chio Lim Stone Forest has chosen Good Technology to help it realize its mobile strategy,” said Anthony Tian, Asia-Pacific Regional Director for Good Technology. “The employees’ desire to use smart devices for both personal and work purposes has ignited the need for secure collaborative workflows to protect and manage mobile apps, devices and enterprise data.”
As part of its mobility initiative, CLSF is also evaluating the option of implementing Good Share, which allows mobile workers to access, sync and share enterprise information located on SharePoint or other file repositories from anywhere, at any time, using their mobile phone or tablet. Good Share can also enable mobile employees to access corporate documents without requiring a VPN or introducing risky firewall policies that might publicly expose corporate files.
Chio Lim Stone Forest is a member of RSM International, the world’s seventh largest accounting and business advisory network. CLSF is currently planning to deploy Good for Enterprise in its Malaysian and Chinese operations by 2014.
