Tenable Network Security, Inc. announced it has joined the Intel Security Innovation Alliance and completed a new technology integration that will provide McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) customers with continuous visibility across their existing McAfee environment.
“More than 20,000 global customers already rely on Tenable to deliver a comprehensive view of the overall health of critical networks,” said Renaud Deraison, chief technology officer, Tenable Network Security. “Through our technology alliance with Intel Security, even more customers benefit from Tenable solutions working seamlessly within their existing McAfee environment. This is great news for McAfee ePO customers looking to get the visibility they need to build an effective security program and fill gaps in vulnerability management.”
The integration between the two companies provides customers with continuous visibility and critical context into all networked assets, configuration policies, known vulnerabilities and detected malware. With access to comprehensive vulnerability management data from Tenable, ePO customers are able to detect and track all devices, services and applications in use on the network, giving them increased assurance that their distributed IT environments are secure.
“A key goal behind the Intel Security Innovation Alliance program is to accelerate the development of industry leading security products and simplify the integration of those products within complex customer environments,” said D.J. Long, senior director, Intel Security Innovation Alliance. “We’re excited to add Tenable to our select list of technology partners, providing additional vulnerability management solutions and increased security protection to McAfee ePO customers.”
