As cybersecurity threats evolve constantly, ViewQwest partners network and security expert Cato Networks to offer a Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solution with embedded Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS) to protect its enterprise customers.
ViewQwest launches a secured SD-WAN connectivity service in Singapore that does not require any WAN optimisers installed at each location. Businesses can streamline their on-premise equipment and centralise management for their network with this cloud-based service.
Businesses will have an option of a unified secured SD-WAN solution or the software-defined FWaaS as a standalone service. The new Firewall-as-a-Service comes with 100Mbps secured Internet access at a promotional price of $279 per month for each office location, up to 5 locations.
Vignesa Moorthy, CEO of ViewQwest said, “With the launch of ViewQwest’s SD-WAN service, we have augmented our managed security and network offerings with a next-generation solution that empowers enterprises to reduce costs, management complexities and deployment times. SD-WAN provides service level assurance that covers uptime, latency and packet loss, giving businesses the peace of mind they need”.
Stree Naidu, Vice President (APJ) of Cato Networks said, “With more than 40 Points-of-Presence globally, Cato Networks enables businesses to receive a similar user experience to MPLS at a fraction of the cost.”
Cato Networks is co-founded and helmed by Shlomo Kramer, the serial entrepreneur who also founded two successful and publicly-traded cybersecurity companies, Check Point and Imperva.
